Founder’s Story
Aviation entrepreneur, Farhad Azima, was born on 10 September 1941. He has dedicated over four decades to transforming the aviation and airline industry. Now residing in Missouri, his entrepreneurial journey began in the 1970s with a unique venture, transporting cattle by air from the United States to the Middle East.
This pioneering enterprise proved lucrative, until the Iranian Revolution in 1979 reshaped the landscape. Farhad Azima then adapted and expanded his focus to cargo operations and passenger charter flights, in order to further increase profitability.

This strategic move catalysed unprecedented growth for the company, especially during the late 1980s and 1990s. Under his leadership, ALG Transportation amassed a fleet of 100 to 240 aircraft, extending its reach across the UK, Spain, Egypt, Jordan, and throughout Africa.
Today, Farhad Azima’s legacy continues to soar, inspiring future generations of aviation professionals and entrepreneurs. His journey from cattle transport to global aviation leasing serves as a testament to the power of vision, adaptability, and relentless pursuit of success.
